Last weekend Chris and I said "screw it" to all of the relocation/new house/new job/adult responsibilities that have completely consumed our existence lately and took a long drive through the country ((en route to an estate sale to buy a new couch that we spent our entire Sunday hauling home but that's for another post)). We stumbled upon this quaint little farm that also happened to share our namesake :) We only stopped for a few minutes but it felt so. good. to pause for a few minutes and soak in the sunshine after five straight weeks of relocation chaos.
In other news, these Trask loafers are unquestionably the most comfortable shoes I've owned since it became inappropriate for me to wear Adidas slides every day post-college. Trask is an American heritage brand founded in Bozeman, Montana that I first discovered when browsing LLBean. True to the reviews, they are insanely comfortable and well made. They required zero break-in period and immediately became my favorite shoes to dress up or down for weekend adventures. Try them on at Richards in Greenwich if you are in the area!
