Hi, I’M MEG.

I live in West Hartford, CT with my husband Chris and our baby girl Nell. We love classic American style and bickering about whose turn it is to unload the dishwasher. Glad you stopped by!

This week's roundup is dedicated to all kinds of exciting happenin's in my very own little internet community! I get so excited when I see people I know doing big things and making their dreams come through so I thought I'd give a few fun shoutouts.

1.) I've "known" (i.e. internet friend status ;) Tatiana since the tumblr days (many, many moons ago - remember when tumblr was a thing?!). She has incredible personal style and I've always loved how she incorporates her Russian heritage into both her home and how she dresses her adorable kiddos. Well lo and behold she went and launched a kids clothing line this week and I'm swooning over the mini twirl skirts! Check out her site - I'm sure there is more to come. Way to go Tatiana!

2.) Cassandra was in my sorority back at UConn and we've kept in touch in funny little ways - finding housing for a friend in NYC, etc. I love following her instagram for little reminders of mindfulness and healthy eating, and this week she announced that her first BOOK is available for pre-order

3.) Emily Henderson is not technically my friend (at all. yet. ;) but I stumbled upon her 15th marriage anniversary post this week and I almost got teary-eyed reading it. Real, raw storytelling is so rare in blogging these days - this is definitely worth a read.

4.) A little late but my friend Lauren just moved uptown in NYC - she has GREAT interior style and I can't wait to follow along as she makes her new place home. I need a little inspiration jump start to tackle our dining room!

5.) I became friends with Shannon and her husband Scott on a shoot in Anguilla last year - they own a beautiful resort on island that they call home base but they spend a good part of their year traveling the world. They are currently at the end of a multi-week trek through Africa and I can't get enough of following their adventures
