Tennis Athleisure

I’ve never been much into athleisure apparel, even in the midst of COVID. I always feel disheveled and haven’t found any pieces that are particularly flattering on me. The other day my friend Corie blew my mind with the mention of her new summer uniform - a tennis skirt and tee. It sent me into an internet rabbit hole of this newfound athleisure category of tailored, classic looks that integrate seamlessly into my capsule approach to clothing. Additionally, I can feel pulled together with the ease and comfort of a pair of leggings and a tee. Not to mention a crisp pleat is always super flattering!

I was surprised to find that I kept almost everything I ordered, so I thought I’d link it here in an accessible location. I will say I tried a budget option of the tennis skirt from Aerie and the quality wasn’t comparable. I much prefer the structure and material of the Tory Sport option. I did keep this longline sports bra from Aerie however, I LOVE the fit and the simple, clasp-free straps.
